Following a series of watches and alerts, including a tornado warning issued on Thursday night, only a fog advisory remains in effect.
Fog has emerged across various parts of southern Ontario and is anticipated to persist into the mid-morning hours of Friday.
According to the information provided by Environment Canada, dense fog patches with extremely limited visibility may occur, posing a hazard for travel.
As of 5:30 a.m., numerous Enwin customers in the city, particularly in the Pillette, Riverside, and Roeseland East areas, continue to experience power outages. Additionally, over 11,000 Essex Power customers in Leamington are without power, and around 20 customers in St. Clair Beach are affected. Chatham-Kent has reported power outages impacting nearly 13,000 residents.

- Friday: The sky will remain cloudy. There’s a 30 percent chance of showers in the morning. Fog patches will disperse as the day progresses. The high temperature will reach 26°C, with a humidex of 34.
- Friday Night: The evening will bring partial cloudiness, followed by a 30 percent chance of showers overnight. Fog patches are expected to develop during the night. The low temperature will be around 18°C.
- Saturday: Expect a mixture of sunshine and clouds, with a 40 percent chance of showers and a possibility of thunderstorms. Fog patches will dissipate in the morning. The day’s high temperature will be 25°C, with a humidex of 30. The UV index will be 8, indicating very high UV levels.
